<description>Stacey! The pesto was so good. And, your garlic is absolutely amazing. It is going to be so hard to not eat the last one and save it for planting. Its great raw and I love how like u said there are no little annoying cloves in the middle. I'm sorry to hear about the peaches, that's too bad. Alice looks so cute in the photo!

		<description>beautiful garlic!

and so many beans i've never even heard of. awesome.

i, too am using the soapy water mixture.

i've had an okay harvest after about 30 days--3 cukes, zucchini, basil, some tomatoes, but my landlady says i am overwatering/aka OVERGARDENING!! i can't win i guess. i was told by the nursery person to water twice a day, but my landlady, who also was a nurser (?) says i'm using too much water..so i let them be..they looked fine..now i'm getting some wilty, yellow leaves on the zuchinni...not sure what's going on there.

also, how do you tears yours off? for the cukes, i've just been twisting or lightly pulling?

and what his hand-pollination?

that sounds so scientific, i wonder if i could manage it.

thanks for your wonderful bloggie blogs. i love gardening, even if i ain't that great at it!

<description>Hi! Thanks! You believe that shit? I don't know if I've got noseeums but I've got lots of bugs - maybe some flea beetles? The kind that jump around with a little flea-like ping when you disturb them, plus the aphids.... My fava plants are mostly not producing beans, even though the plants look healthy. Only a few plants have any beans on them. I wonder if it's something to do with the bugs eating them? Or maybe the soap I've been spraying? I wonder if I've kept the little flowers from getting fertilized by dousing them with soap? It's kind of disappointing. That's life in the garden, I guess...

<description>OMG. That would send me into a blind rage.

All I have is Greek Basil for herbs and luckily my landlady owned her own nursery in PA so she's been instrumental.

I seriously wasn't watering and repotting correctly, so she gave me some tips and now my green thumb is coming out with pride.

I'm really, truly sorry about the careless, insensitive landscapers. Maybe you'll have to plant 'em on a porch or something. bummer.

Have you had a lot of "no-seem-ems".?.those have been all over my leaves. I shake ou t the leaves and they fly everywhere!

<description>I did a lot of gardening help for my mom this weekend. I would love to help you move dirt this weekend, but I am in New York and working. Playing in dirt and growing stuff is one of my favorite things to do.
